Performs a variety of basic kitchen duties in the serving, delivery, and clean up of the daily meals served to residents, associates, and visitors.
Introduces self and the nutrition services department during all customer encounters including but not limited to telephone conversations and resident interactions. Communicates clearly and appropriately with all customers, including but not limited to, coworkers, patients, visitors and volunteers.
Ensures all food is displayed and served in an attractive manner in accordance with guidelines as monitored by customers and staff feedback.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning of area walls, floors and equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
Ensure items are appropriately stocked in assigned areas based on established job routine.
Assist in food production for special functions as directed
